NEW YORK — The next Aaron Judge rush at Yankee Stadium will not begin with a swing. It will begin at the gates.
The Yankees captain remains the face of the franchise even when he is not in the lineup, and that pull is now tied to one of the most watched items on the team’s promotional calendar. A new Judge giveaway has turned a June game against the Cincinnati Reds into more than a regular afternoon in the Bronx.
The Yankees have built many giveaway nights around nostalgia, pop culture and star power. This one leans on all three. It also arrives during a stretch when Judge’s absence has made every sign of his presence feel larger to fans.
The club is not just handing out another souvenir. The Yankees are offering a collectible that matches Judge’s name, his awards record and his standing with the fan base.
Judge presence still drives Stadium buzz
Judge has been sidelined, but the Yankees have not lost the marketing force that comes with his name. That became clear when attention turned to the upcoming bobblehead giveaway tied to the captain’s MVP profile.
The timing gives the promotion a different feel. Fans have not been watching Judge patrol the outfield or change games with one swing. Yet they will still have a chance to leave Yankee Stadium with a Judge item that connects directly to his most powerful brand.
The Yankees have leaned into that connection before. Judge giveaways carry extra interest because they blend team loyalty with collector demand. The latest version takes the idea further by using courtroom imagery tied to the “All Rise” identity that followed him from prospect status to superstardom.
The item also lands during a busy part of the Yankees’ home schedule. Cincinnati comes to the Bronx for a weekend series while fans continue to track Judge’s status and the club’s lineup depth.
The giveaway details fans need

The Yankees will give away Aaron Judge MVP bobbleheads on Saturday, June 20, before their 1:35 p.m. game against the Cincinnati Reds at Yankee Stadium.
The promotion is for the first 18,000 guests, according to the Yankees’ official promotional schedule. It is presented by T-Mobile.
That detail matters because the gate count, not ticket ownership alone, decides who gets one. A ticket gives fans a chance to enter the ballpark. It does not guarantee a giveaway if the supply runs out.
The bobblehead design makes the item easy to understand. Judge appears in a judge’s robe, with a gavel in one hand and three MVP plaques in the other, according to the New York Post ticketing guide, which cited MLB.com’s listing.
That visual gives the giveaway its hook. It turns Judge’s last name into the theme and turns his award history into the punch line.
For Yankees fans, the item is tied to the captain’s place in modern franchise history. Judge has become the team’s defining star of this era. A bobblehead built around his MVP image gives the giveaway more weight than a standard stadium freebie.
Ticket prices add another layer
The New York Post’s ticketing guide listed last-minute prices for the June 20 game through SeatGeek at the time of publication. The lowest listed entry point was $56 including fees for 300-level seats, while 400-level seats started at $62 including fees.
The guide also listed 200-level seats from $76 including fees and 100-level seats from $117 including fees. Lower-level tickets were listed from $578 including fees.
Those numbers can move because ticket prices change with demand. A Judge giveaway can create pressure on the market, especially when the item is limited and connected to one of baseball’s biggest stars.
The Post also listed a SeatGeek promo code, NYPOST10, for $10 off purchases over $250. The note said the code was valid for first-time SeatGeek users.
For fans, the bigger issue is timing. The Yankees’ official listing makes clear that the Judge MVP bobblehead is limited to the first 18,000 guests. That should push collectors and families to plan for a crowded entry window.
Collectors know the Judge market

The giveaway has interest beyond the game itself because Judge collectibles often carry resale attention.
The New York Post noted that past Judge MVP bobbleheads have appeared on resale platforms such as Mercari and eBay for as much as $120. The report also said the new version already appeared to be drawing resale interest.
That does not mean every item will reach that number. Resale prices can change quickly. Condition, box quality, demand and scarcity all matter.
Still, Yankees giveaways tied to top stars often create a second market. Judge sits in a different tier because of his MVP history and his role as captain. That makes Saturday’s item one of the more notable Yankees giveaways of the season.
The promotion also fits a wider trend around ballpark collectibles. Bobblehead nights remain one of the surest ways for teams to drive attention to a specific date.
More Stadium giveaways follow Judge night
The Yankees’ promotional calendar does not stop with the Judge MVP bobblehead.
Another Judge-themed giveaway is scheduled for July 21, when the Yankees host a Harry Potter bobblehead night. The Post noted that the item appears to include house-themed options tied to Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
The Yankees also have a Cody Bellinger bobblehead scheduled for Aug. 21, when the Toronto Blue Jays visit Yankee Stadium. A George Costanza calzone bobblehead is scheduled for Aug. 27 against the Houston Astros.
The club also has a Josh Hart Yankees bobblehead night set for Sept. 25 against the Baltimore Orioles, a crossover item that should interest Knicks fans as well.
Those dates give the Yankees several more promotional hooks during the second half. But the Judge giveaway stands apart because it arrives first, ties directly to the captain’s MVP identity and comes while fans wait to see him back on the field.
For one afternoon, the Yankees can turn a regular June game into a Stadium chase.
The first 18,000 guests will decide how fast that chase ends.
