It’s been said that everything is bigger in Texas, and now one sports fan could be in line for a significant financial windfall. He is Cory Youmans, who was at Section 31, Row 1, Seat 3, and caught Aaron Judge’s 62nd HR ball valued at least $2.5 million.

After hitting his 62nd home run against the New York Yankees, Aaron Judge has officially surpassed Roger Maris’ single-season record of 61 home runs from the 1961 season to become the American League’s leader in home runs hit in a single season.

Does this seem like it happened like a month ago? .. #Yankees #AllRise #RepBX https://t.co/2YQSQBIU3Z

Several auction houses said that the ball from his record-setting home run could be worth millions of dollars. According to a sports memorabilia expert, Aaron Judge’s 62nd HR ball could fetch a 25 times bigger amount than Albert Pujol’s 700th home-run ball. There is a wide expectation that Cory Youmans has a chance to get up to $5 million after catching the historic home-run ball. Fans from all over the country wanted to be at the game behind the outfield fence to try to get the valuable ball.

Meet Cory Youmans who caught Aaron Judge’s 62nd HR ball

Cory Youmans is from Dallas. He ended up with the valuable piece of memorabilia after Aaron Judge smashed a pitch from Jesus Tinoco of the Texas Rangers during the first inning. The 62nd HR ball landed in the first-level seats in the left-field bleacher.

Cory Youmans was quickly escorted away by Globe Life Field security so that MLB could authenticate the baseball. Although he acknowledged that he did not know what he was going to do with the ball, he could be seen really happy.

When asked what he was going to do with the ball, Youmans said, “That’s a good question! I haven’t given it any thought!”

Cory Youmans, who was wearing a Texas Rangers cap, seemed to say, “I don’t know” when he was asked if he was going to keep the 62nd HR ball or give it back to Aaron Judge.

People say that because Cory Youmans is Vice President of Fisher Investments, a company that manages $197 billion around the world, he will probably give Aaron Judge the ball for free, but will he? There are reports of him already getting offers of $2 million. It may grow even bigger.

The man who caught the historic Aaron Judge baseball, Corey Youmans, doesn’t exactly need the money.

He is a vice president at Fisher Investments, which manages $197 billion worldwide.

It may be the price of Judge’s next contract.

Cory Youmans’ wife Bri Amaranthus took to social media to celebrate the occasion. A former participant in the reality show “The Bachelor” and now a reporter who covers the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks, she tweeted a video of Youmans at the stadium saying “THIS IS MY HUSBAND.” An excited Amaranthus also shared a photo of the 62nd HR ball on her Instagram page.

How much could Judge’s 62nd HR ball be worth?

Chris Ivy, who works for Heritage Auctions, had stated before the game that they had already received an offer for the 62nd HR ball in the amount of $2 million dollars. Although they acknowledged that it could be worth even more if it were to be sold on the open market, $2 million is likely to be the starting amount for Cory Youmans if he decides to sell the ball.

Memory Lane, a website that sells sports memorabilia, made the same point, saying that whoever caught the 62nd HR ball would be guaranteed a payout of $2 million dollars from them if they decided to sell it to them.

If Cory Youmans makes the decision to sell the baseball, it will be very interesting to see how much he gets for it in the end. At Rogers Centre, no one was there to catch Judge’s 61st home run as it landed in the bullpen of the Blue Jays.

The Yankees have another game in Texas on Wednesday afternoon, and it will be Judge’s last opportunity to add to the number of home runs he has already hit during the regular season.

For the time being, the 62nd HR ball has already been authenticated, and at this point, all we can do is wait to see what Cory Youmans does with it.

How much do you think Cory Youmans will get if he auctions the 62nd HR ball?
