Jasson Dominguez logs CF time
While Jasson Dominguez played almost the entire game as the designated hitter, Spencer Jones held down centerfield. However, in the last moment, there was a positional swap: Dominguez shifted to center field while Jones moved to right field. Interestingly, this is only Dominguez’s second time playing as a centerfielder.

What’s next for Jasson Dominguez?
Before the game, Jasson Dominguez expressed his excitement and happiness to be back on the field but refrained from providing a timeline for his return to the Yankees. The team has been cautious in activating him, mindful of their strong performance this season. Consequently, the player has not played a single MLB game since undergoing Tommy John surgery on September 20, 2023.
Jasson Dominguez made a significant impact in his brief MLB debut late last season, posting a .258/.303/.677 slash line with four home runs, seven RBIs, six runs, and a 0.2 WAR over eight games.

the HR was hit right-handed 👍. Played a few more innings of CF, moving Spencer Jones to RF, first pro innings defensively not in CF. Spencer Jones, who was in a 14-100 slide since April 30, with no HRs, had 3 hits, including a HR of his own.
