Yankees skipper Aaron Boone has concluded the overhaul of his coaching staff for the upcoming 2024 season, welcoming a familiar figure, Pat Roessler, as the team’s new assistant hitting coach.

Roessler, aged 64, brings a wealth of experience from his tenure in Major League Baseball. He previously held the position of hitting coach for the Montreal Expos (2000-01) and the New York Mets (2015-18). Most recently, he spent three seasons as an assistant hitting coach for the Washington Nationals, stepping in for the departing Brad Wilkerson, who served the Yankees for just one season.
