Houston Astros host NY Yankees in ALCS Game 1

During the regular season, the New York Yankees finished first in the American League East with a record of 99-63. They faced off against the Houston Astros (106-56, first in the AL West during the regular season).

Time: 7:37 p.m. Eastern.

Where: Minute Maid Park, Houston (41,118).

Pitching matchup: Jameson Taillon (14-5, 3.91 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 151 strikeouts) vs. Justin Verlander (18-4, 1.75 ERA, .83 WHIP, 185 strikeouts).
