New York Yankees fans have aired out their growing concerns about their side’s poor performance. More specifically, the supporters are bothered about what the Bombers can achieve under the guidance of Aaron Boone.
The Yankees endured a rough start to the week, suffering a defeat to Mets in the Subway Series. The most disappointing defeat came in a 12-2 loss on Wednesday. While Aaron Judge managed to save his side’s blushes in the first game, it was clearly not their day in the second, leading to calls for Boone to be sacked.
What are Yankees fans saying about Boone?

The recent loss to the Mets has put Boone’s capabilities in the spotlight. Despite his occasional ejections in defense of his players and his historical ties to the Yankees, many believe it might be time for a change.
Underlying this sentiment could be the disappointment from the team not qualifying for the playoffs. However, some fans claim that the underlying issues are more with General Manager Brian Cashman than with Boone. Interestingly, the Yankees’ last World Series win was back in 2009.
Aaron Boone should be fired tonight.

George would’ve lit his ass up…ain’t no way this team has zero heart.
As of Thursday afternoon, anti-Boone sentiments remain strong among the fanbase. It remains to be seen if this discontent will persist during the upcoming game against the Blue Jays.
The lose interest every year with Aaron Boone as their manager and stop playing well around this time of the year. They will not play well and blame injuries. Fire Aaron Boone.

Should the Yankees worry?
In the midst of these troubles, the Yankees managed an 8-3 victory over Atlanta last Saturday. A significant moment came when Trent Grisham was called to pinch-hit for Giancarlo Stanton, highlighting the team’s recent struggles. Initially, Stanton and Anthony Rizzo were expected to be pivotal to the lineup, but injuries to both have left the team scrambling.
Gleyber Torres’ surprising struggles have also added to the woes, resulting in his benching. D.J. LeMahieu’s lack of extra-base hits this season, despite recent improvements, has further compounded the team’s issues. Consequently, Boone is often forced to field imperfect lineups, reflecting the team’s current limitations.

This roster currently is lacking. Would Boone being fired really help? I don’t know, because I don’t see most of the moves being any different under Ausmus, Duncan, or Fishman. I mean it would put Boone out of his misery, and 2 months later when whoever is the manager is basically making the same moves with the same sort of reasons, will anyone be willing to apologize to Boone? Remember, the HC last year was completely clueless and it took Hal to fire him, Cashman didn’t want to. I say if Boone goes, Cashman needs to go too.
George would’ve never put up with analytics. George would’ve thrown a fit over Deivi Garcia. The medical staff? forget about it. He would’ve publicly asked out loud all the questions us fans now scream out. George would’ve done a lot of things differently, but one thing I am sure of, Cashman would not still be the GM.
Also, I would’ve liked to see who George would’ve gotten to replace Stick, as his most trusted advisor.
I agree. about getting rid of Boone. he stays out of the dugout , holding the stairs in place, blowing his bubbles, and always filling his mouth. The bullpen coach is also not paying much attention to the pitchers warming up. when the photographer picks up the bullpen, the coach seldom watched the pitchers, he should be watching every pitch they make. How does he know they are ready. sure, they are probably warmed up, but are they ready? They very often come in relief. and give up hits. Cashman checks all the teams that designated pitchers ,and he gets them. Does he think he can do miracles with them??
