During his time with the Yankees, Jordan Montgomery had a record of 22 wins and 20 losses with a respectable 3.94 ERA. He also made a postseason start for the Yankees in 2020. In the regular season, he posted a 10-11 record with a 3.70 ERA. Notably, he consistently pitched at least six innings in each of his last four regular-season games, with three of those outings extending to seven innings.

Before the start of the ALCS, Jordan Montgomery had a postseason record of 1 win and 0 losses with an ERA of 3.27.
