While the weather outside may not scream “baseball season,” the countdown to the first pitch of the 2025 MLB season is already underway. For fans of the New York Yankees, the anticipation is building toward a monumental Opening Day at Yankee Stadium. The Bronx Bombers, fresh off their American League championship triumph, are set to host the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday, March 27, marking the start of a season that promises to be nothing short of electrifying.

If the thought of a crisp March afternoon in the Bronx doesn’t get your heart racing, perhaps the release of 2025 Yankees tickets will. Here are key games for which you need to secure your seat at Yankee Stadium.

Key Yankees matchups to watch at Yankee Stadium

The Yankees’ 2025 schedule is packed with marquee matchups, including rivalries and high-stakes games that every fan will want to experience in person. Among the most anticipated series:

  • The Subway Series: From May 16-18, the Mets cross town to face the Yankees, marking Juan Soto‘s first game against his former team. Expect fireworks as Soto takes on the club that traded him.
  • The Red Sox Rivalry: The Boston Red Sox make their first trip to Yankee Stadium from June 6-8 and return later in the season from August 21-24. These clashes are always filled with drama and intensity.
  • Showdown with the Astros: From August 8-10, Houston comes to town. Given the history between these two teams, this series will undoubtedly bring an electric atmosphere.
  • Season Finale vs. the Orioles: The Yankees wrap up their regular season with a three-game homestand against the Baltimore Orioles from September 26-28. With potential postseason implications, these games could be pivotal.

Ticket options to suit every fan

The Yankees have made it easier than ever to plan your visits to the ballpark with a variety of ticket options:

  • Individual Game Tickets: For fans looking to catch specific matchups, single-game tickets are now available. Whether you’re eyeing the Red Sox rivalry or the Subway Series, act fast to secure your spot.
  • Group Discounts: Planning an outing with friends, family, or colleagues? Groups of 10 or more can take advantage of discounted rates by contacting the team’s ticket office at (212) YANKEES or via email at groups@yankees.com.
  • Season Tickets: Die-hard fans can choose from full-season, 41-game, 20-game, 16-game, 12-game, or 9-game plans. Season tickets come with added perks and ensure you won’t miss a moment of the action. For inquiries, reach out to seasontickets@yankees.com.
  • Luxury Suites and Premium Experiences: Yankee Stadium’s luxury, party, and club suites offer a private viewing experience for groups ranging from 16 to 100 guests. These spaces come with all-inclusive ballpark fare and other premium amenities. To learn more, email premium@yankees.com.

Spring training warm-up in Tampa

If March 27 feels too far away, fans can get an early dose of Yankees baseball at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida. Spring Training tickets, including season tickets, three-game Flex Plans, and single-game options, are now on sale. The Yankees open their Grapefruit League schedule on February 21 against the Tampa Bay Rays and play their final spring home game on March 23.

This year’s Spring Training carries added significance, as the Rays will temporarily call Steinbrenner Field home for the 2024 regular season due to Hurricane Milton’s damage to Tropicana Field. Meanwhile, the Yankees’ Single-A affiliate, the Tampa Tarpons, will relocate their home games to “Field 2” at the Yankees’ complex.

A season full of opportunity

The Yankees‘ 2025 campaign offers something for everyone, from lifelong fans to first-time visitors. Whether you’re catching a classic rivalry game, treating friends to a luxury suite experience, or enjoying the Florida sunshine during Spring Training, the Yankees have made it easy to be part of the excitement.

As the Bombers prepare to defend their American League title, Yankee Stadium promises to be a hub of unforgettable moments. So, grab your tickets, gear up in pinstripes, and get ready for a season that could bring the Yankees closer to World Series glory.
