As the Yankees set to start their 2023 season, the YES Network only has a direct-feed agreement with DIRECTV Stream making it the only available service to watch Yankees 2023 games live streaming. Hulu, FuboTV, and Sling haven’t had any agreement with the regional sports network for the past three seasons.
Fans in the area who want to watch 2023 Yankees games live streaming without getting a cable connection can sign up for DirectTV Stream here. They should sign up for the Choice package or one of the options above it. The Basic Entertainment package does not include regional sports networks.

Watch 2023 Yankees games live streaming on YES DTC
According to sources, the YES Network is still aiming to launch a direct-to-consumer (DTC) service by Opening Day to allow fans to watch 2023 Yankees games live streaming. However, if the product is not ready in time for the first pitch of the Yankees-Giants game, the plan is to have it available shortly after, with the latest expectation being sometime in April.
The DTC offering will provide access to all 125-128 games on YES, allowing fans to bypass a subscription to cable or satellite television. The subscription will only be available in the YES market. It means those living in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut can watch 2023 Yankees games live streaming on it without a cable subscription.
Fans will still need a separate subscription for Amazon Prime Video’s 20 Yankees games, which are moving to Wednesdays this season. ESPN has six exclusive Yankees games per year, and eight others appear on Fox, which is a free broadcast channel.
While pricing for YES’s DTC offering is not yet known, NESN charged $30 per month for its DTC offering last season, which included eight tickets to a home game. YES will likely aim to satisfy its cable and satellite partners’ pricing, as their service will remain unchanged for those who have YES through those outlets. This week, YES is expected to announce its official plans for the DTC product, and if not, shortly after.
If launched, YES will become the first New York RSN to go DTC, beating MSG Network, which plans to launch a DTC product this summer for access to Knicks and Rangers games. SNY currently has no official plans for a DTC product, but sources indicate that it could be in play for next season.
