The information came out just two days after Bader sent a text message affirming his willingness to rejoin the Yankees. This reached following his participation in two rehab games with the Somerset Patriots in Minor League Baseball.

Harrison Bader had been sidelined due to a hamstring injury and was initially expected to make his comeback over the weekend against Boston. However, the Yankees gave him more at-bats before activating him for the game.
The Yankees took the opportunity to make a statement via their social media channels, while also announcing the anticipated return of Carlos Rodon – who is set to take the field tonight for Double-A Somerset.
