I understand Theo Epstein lives in NYC area. Rebuilt the Red Sox, then the Chicago Cubs to World Series Champions. Why not the Yankees, if he is willing to come back to MLB? For manager, hire who should have been hired after the 2017 season, Don Mattingly. Get people who played for the Yankees. Don’t hire people who have never one anything, especially algorithm geeks.

Any manager would be better than Boone… He’s just Cashman’s Yes boy…. Even though he was a player.. He doesn’t have a great feel for the game… He has no gut instinct….
