After winning two home series to make a great start in the 2023 season, the Yankees are set to start their first on-road game in Baltimore. The first game of a three-game Yankees vs, series Orioles will be played on Friday, following the postponement on Thursday necessitated by adverse weather conditions.

Yankees to start with Clarke Schmidt

Schmidt (0-0) will make his second start of the season for the Yankees.
The right-hander’s last game was on Saturday against the San Francisco Giants. He pitched 3 1/3 innings and gave up five hits and three earned runs.
