It’s a crucial Game 4 of this series with the Yankees leading 2-1 going into the finals.

The Red Sox have improved after struggling earlier in the season but have been able to gain little ground against a Yankees team that continues to roll.

BOTTOM LINE:
The New York Yankees meet the Boston Red Sox, who lead the series 2-1. Boston is 46-39 overall and 22-20 at home. The Red Sox have gone 21-10 in games where they haven’t allowed home runs.

New York has a 61-24 record overall and a 27-15 record in road games. The Yankees have hit a total of 144 homers to lead the American League.
