Cabrera hit his second game-tying home run in three days, a two-run shot against Astros reliever Bryan Abreu in the seventh inning, before Soto sent one out against Abreu to the opposite field for the lead, propelling the Yankees to a 5-4 victory at Minute Maid Park.
Yankees secure series win with late offensive surge
At the end of the day, the New York Yankees rallied for a thrilling 5-4 victory over the Houston Astros, securing the series win before Sunday’s finale. Despite early defensive miscues, the Yankees showcased resilience, with their offense exploding late against the Astros’ bullpen.

Even though Astros fans booed Juan Soto in the 9th inning, it wasn’t enough to alter the outcome at this point
