Aaron Judge has added another milestone to his Yankees career. The baseball player, who currently holds the record for hitting the most home runs in a single AL season and got the 2022 MVP award, became the AL Player of the Week for the eighth time this Monday.

The Yankees captain led his team to an impressive 12-3 record since coming back from the injured list. This achievement played a role in getting Aaron Judge his eighth career AL Player of the Week Award (May 15-21). It sets a new record for the most Player of the Week Awards won by any Yankee player in the history of the franchise.

Aaron Judge surpassed previous record holders Robinson Cano and Don Mattingly, who each won it six times. Notably, He is the third Yankees player to earn this prestigious award during the current season. While Gerrit Cole won it a few weeks ago, Anthony Rizzo was named AL Player of the Week for May 8-14.

Reggie Jackson, a Yankees Hall of Famer, was the first recipient of the AL of the Week award on April 10, 1974, while playing for the Oakland Athletics.

Aaron Judge crushed his opponents last week

In the last six games, Aaron Judge showcased an exceptional performance, recording a batting average of .500 (11-for-22). He smashed five home runs, and two doubles, and contributed 11 RBI. Additionally, Judge scored seven runs, stole a base, and achieved a remarkable 1.273 slugging percentage along with a .621 on-base percentage.

The 31-year-old slugger had an outstanding series against Toronto. Aaron Judge had hits in every game. His two home runs on Monday contributed to a 7-4 victory for the New York Yankees. On Tuesday, he hit another crucial two-run homer, breaking a tied game in the eighth inning. Aaron Judge wrapped up the series with his fourth home run, helping the Yankees win three out of four games against Toronto.

Aaron Judge hit his fifth home run of the week in Game 1 against the Reds at Great American Ball Park. In Game 2, the three-time Silver Slugger Award winner showcased his talent with a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate. Aaron Judge leads from the front

During the period from May 15 to May 21, Yankees slugger Aaron Judge displayed an impressive performance, hitting five home runs and achieving seven extra-base hits across six games. The Yankees won two of three games against the Toronto Blue Jays thanks in large part to his five game-winning RBIs at at Rogers Center, and they swept the lower-ranked Cincinnati Reds thanks to his efforts as well.

Last week, Aaron Judge recorded game-winning RBIs in five road victories, which played a significant role in the team’s success. According to STATS, this remarkable achievement sets Aaron Judge apart as the only Major League player in the last 50 years to accomplish five game-winning RBIs on the road within a span of six days or less.

The New York Yankees are currently on a four-game winning run and have won eight of their past ten games. Aaron Judge has been a major factor offensively for the Yankees since coming back from the injured list. A new fan of Aaron Judge

A young boy from Jessamine County had an unforgettable weekend in Cincinnati when he attended a baseball game. At the age of six, Parker King had an exciting experience attending his very first Major League Baseball game to support his beloved New York Yankees and his favorite player, Aaron Judge.

During the first inning, a remarkable moment occurred when Aaron Judge smacked a powerful shot, and to Parker’s astonishment, the ball came straight toward him. However, an older and larger fan managed to catch the ball, unintentionally causing some discomfort to Parker in the process. However, as soon as the fan realized what had transpired, he gladly handed the ball over to Parker. Now, Parker not only has a cherished souvenir but also an incredible story to share with others.

To add to the excitement, the two passionate baseball fans, Parker and the older fan, even took a picture together. The crowd erupted with cheers and joined in the celebration by exchanging high-fives with the duo. Parker was especially thrilled because he ended up with a special souvenir—the ball that marked Aaron Judge’s 233rd home run and his 13th of the season. It was a memorable moment that Parker will always cherish.

On Tuesday night, the Yankees host the Baltimore Orioles for the first game in a three-game series, and the 31-year-old Aaron Judge and the rest of the Yankees are looking to keep their winning streak going. In their last six games, the Orioles have been dominant, winning five of them.
