On Friday, the New York Yankees decided to elevate their talented pitching prospect, Clayton Beeter, to the Triple-A, signifying his progression within the system. Clayton Beeter, the highly regarded pitching prospect, will now pitch for the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre team staying in contention for a major league call.
Clayton Beeter had an impressive season for the Yankees’ Double-A affiliate the Somerset Patriots, showcasing his skills on the mound. He achieved a notable 6-2 record with a stellar 2.08 ERA, a solid 1.24 WHIP, and an impressive tally of 76 strikeouts in 60.2 innings pitched across 12 starts.
At 24 years old, the pitcher holds the position of the Yankees’ 13th-ranked prospect, as stated by MLB Pipeline. With his recent promotion to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Clayton Beeter has moved one step closer to realizing his dream of making his major league debut with the Yankees.
Yankees got Beeter as part of the Joey Gallo trade
He was acquired by the New York Yankees from the Los Angeles Dodgers during last season’s trade deadline in the Joey Gallo deal. The step has proven beneficial for the Yankees, as they have gained a promising young arm in Clayton Beeter, who is on the verge of reaching the major leagues.
The Yankees’ starting rotation has been plagued by injuries this season, leading to the inclusion of Jhony Brito and Randy Vasquez.
Additionally, Domingo German and Clarke Schmidt have been called upon to fill in the gaps caused by Carlos Rodon’s forearm and back issues, as well as Frankie Montas’ shoulder surgery.
Only time will reveal the extent of Clayton Beeter’s success in Triple-A. But if he can replicate his achievements with the Patriots, there’s every reason to believe that he will excel at the next level.

Get rid of Donaldson and throw in Stanton..
Agree
Josh need to go where anywhere it does not matter the thrill is gone he might hit with a little power but it not enough to be a Yankee his glove is great but that all he have left a 3 rd basemen got to hit the ball let him go it’s time
Donaldson is dead weight for Yankees. Got players in minors that can play 3rd and can hit. Let the Mets have him and give them Hamilton to help. Yankees have enough relief help.
