The first game of a series between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees will be played at Fenway Park. Boston is 55-58 on the season so far and is coming off a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. With a.253 team batting average and a.313 on-base percentage, their offense has scored 508 runs so far this year. So far this year, Rafael Devers has hit 24 home runs (.306 average) and driven in 60 runs (.306 OBP).

The Red Sox and Yankees will play on Friday, August 12 at 7:10 PM ET at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.

Conversely, the Yankees enter this game with a record of 71-41 and are coming off a 4-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners. They are batting.244 as a team and have an.330 on-base percentage, good for 591 runs scored so far this year. So far this season, Aaron Judge has gone for 45 home runs, hit.304, and driven in 99 runs.

Domingo Gérmán takes on Nathan Eovaldi on Friday at 7:10 PM EDT.

Since Domingo Germán’s disastrous season opener against the Astros, in which he allowed five runs in three innings, he has been surprisingly effective. After allowing four runs in 3.2 innings against the Mets, he bounced back to allow two runs with seven strikeouts in 4.2 innings against the Mariners and one run against the Cardinals in two consecutive five inning starts.

Frankie Montas takes on Kutter Crawford on Saturday at 7:15 PM EDT

Frankie Montas will experience the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry for the first time on Saturday when he pitches for the Yankees. In his first start for the Bombers, he allowed six runs in only three innings while losing to the Cardinals.

Jameson Taillon vs. TBD on Sunday at 7:08 PM EDT.

Jameson Taillon will start game three of the series against the Mariners looking to build off of his much-needed bounce-back start in game two, in which he allowed three runs on three hits with six strikeouts over seven innings. The 30-year-old righty has seen his walk totals skyrocket in the last month, which is highly unusual.

Luis Severino, Chad Green, Stephen Ridings, Harrison Bader, Michael King, Miguel Castro, Zack Britton, Giancarlo Stanton, and Matt Carpenter are all out with injuries for the Yankees.

Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees game to be broadcast live on YES and NESN. If you sign up for MLB.com, you can watch the games from anywhere in the world.
