Even though Oswald Peraza kept dominating Lehigh Valley, the RailRiders couldn’t come up with any late-game heroics in their game against Lehigh Valley on Thursday night.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre was ahead by three runs after the third inning, when Oswald Peraza hit a solo home run. But the IronPigs made an amazing comeback, and in the end, they won 5-3.

Oswald Peraza’s power surge in Allentown has been going strong all week, as he has hit home runs in all three games. He has hit nine home runs in his last 11 Triple-A games. Oswald Peraza has hit 10 home runs for the RailRiders this season.
In the second inning, Elijah Dunham delivered a powerful performance, smashing an RBI triple and subsequently scoring on a double by Billy McKinney. However, the IronPigs managed to shut down the RailRiders for the remaining six innings, denying them any further runs and securing the victory. Notably, former RailRiders outfielder Jake Cave made a significant impact by launching a game-changing three-run homer in the bottom of the third, effectively leveling the score against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s starter Jhony Brito.

However, despite their efforts led by Oswald Peraza, they were unable to come up with the crucial hit needed to prolong the game.
