The infield at Yankee Stadium is not covered by a tarp, but the start of Tuesday’s game between the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Yankees is delayed.
With rain in the forecast, the Yankees announced that the game would not begin at the originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. The Yankees made no announcement about a new start time.
This is the Reds’ first visit to Yankee Stadium since 2017. The Reds are 8-11 all-time against the Yankees, including a 2-6 mark at Yankee Stadium.
The Reds enter this week’s three-game series against the league’s top team on a season-high four-game winning streak. The Yankees come into this game with a 61-25 record.
