Major League Baseball (MLB) announced a groundbreaking multiyear partnership with German workwear brand STRAUSS, marking the first time a company will have its logo featured on MLB batting helmets. Starting with the 2024 playoffs, the iconic ostrich logo of STRAUSS will appear on helmets worn by the Yankees and other teams during the postseason, regular season games in Europe, and Minor League Baseball (MiLB) games throughout the season.
Yankees to feature new Strauss partnership on batting helmets starting in 2024 playoffs
This partnership is part of STRAUSS’ strategy to expand brand recognition in the U.S., with MLB Deputy Commissioner Noah Garden emphasizing the shared values between STRAUSS and MLB, such as dedication to craftsmanship and teamwork. The deal will also see STRAUSS branding in MiLB, reaching over 70% of the U.S. population and further solidifying its presence across North America.
In addition to the helmet branding, STRAUSS will sponsor a digital content platform highlighting stolen bases across MLB Network, MLB.com, and social media channels, aligning with their emphasis on preparation and strategic thinking.
For Yankees fans, this collaboration brings a new visual element to the game as they continue to witness their team in both regular season and playoff action with STRAUSS featured prominently.
