Despite his recent recovery from injury, Bader showcased his prowess by 2-4, with a home run on July 3rd, followed by another hit in three at-bats the next days. It not only brings great news, but also serves as a promising sign of the Yankees’ resurgence.
Harrison Bader’s impact sparks Yankees’ dominance
At the beginning, Yankees coach Aaron Boone stated that he won’t start Harrison Bader for more than two consecutive days as a strategic move to ensure his readiness for the big stage. However, it seems that Bader’s back and has delivered two great performances in a row.
During the post-game press conference, Boone was asked about Harrison Bader’s ability to come up with a big hit late in the game for the second straight time. At first, Boone attributed Bader’s success to his talent.
“He’s a really good player, in the primer of his career, but he’s got a great processed, really strong, and no matter what’s going on, he’s able to process what just happened and move on really well. Nothing kind of hangs with him whether it’s good or bad. You know, he’s just like next play, next play, next play and he lives that, you see, he’s a really good competitor.”
Gleyber Torres – the man of the game in the 8-4 win against the Oreoles – stated on Yes Network that it’s amazing to have Harrison Bader on the field.
“He’s bringing good energy to the team. He plays really good, really excited when he’s going to do the home plate. And he’s got a good opportunity to drive the ball. And that’s amazing for us.”, Torres stated.
After the game, Clark Schmidt showed support for Harrison Bader’s recent performances by wearing Bader’s shirt during an interview.

Harrison Bader has proven to be a game-changer, based on his impressive statistics. Without him in the lineup, the Yankees have a win percentage of .471, whereas with him, it rises to .678.
In the series against the Orioles, Harrison Bader had a notable performance going 3-7 with two home runs and five RBIs. Throughout the season, the Yankees have achieved an impressive record of 27-12 when Bader plays.
