According to the Yankees, Giancarlo Stanton was sidelined by tightness in his left hamstring and is scheduled to undergo imaging on Sunday.
Giancarlo Stanton was replaced by Trent Grisham as he prepared for his third at-bat. Earlier in the game, Stanton hit a double to center field in the fourth inning and scored on a double by Gleyber Torres. Replays showed Stanton wincing as he rounded third base.
Before leaving the game, Giancarlo Stanton was 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored. This season, he has 18 home runs, 48 RBIs, and a .794 OPS over 69 games.
