The New York Yankees find themselves in a dire situation as they desperately strive to rescue their postseason aspirations. The team is gearing up to face the Chicago White Sox in a high-stakes MLB regular season game on Tuesday, August 8.

Where and When to Watch the Yankees in Action

As fans eagerly await the matchup, the burning question remains: What channel is the Yankees game on today? In the United States, baseball enthusiasts can tune in to YES Network (New York) and NBC Sports Chicago (Illinois) to catch every moment of the game.

The much-anticipated battle is scheduled to kick off at 7:10 pm CT/8:10 pm ET. The Yankees will be squaring off against the Chicago White Sox in Game 2 of their three-game series. Following a disheartening 5-1 loss in the series opener, the Yankees are now languishing at the bottom of their division. With only 49 games left in the season, they are trailing the AL Wild Card race by 5.5 games.

Streaming Options

Fans residing in the broadcast regions have the option to stream the game at no cost by taking advantage of a DireTV Stream trial, granting access to YES Network and NBC Sports Chicago. Alternatively, viewers from different areas can turn to fuboTV, which provides access to MLB.TV along with a complimentary trial period.

The much-anticipated duel is set to unfold at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois. The Yankees are gearing up to reverse their recent setbacks and regain their footing. Their final game of the White Sox series is scheduled for Wednesday, August 9.

The Yankees’ recent struggles, characterized by their inability to convert scoring opportunities, have cast a shadow over their postseason ambitions. With three defeats in their last four games, the upcoming clash against the White Sox is nothing short of pivotal.

Up Next

In the wake of the White Sox series, the Yankees are poised to take on the Miami Marlins in a four-game series at LoanDepot Park. This series is scheduled to commence on Friday, August 11, promising an intense battle on the diamond.

The likely starting pitchers for tonight’s game include Clarke Schmidt for the Yankees and Touki Toussaint for the White Sox. As the Yankees’ postseason hopes hang in the balance, the pressure is mounting for them to secure a decisive victory. On the flip side, the White Sox, already eliminated from contention, are vying to conclude their season with pride.
