Aaron Judge’s record-setting 62nd home run ball from 2022 is back in his hands, thanks to an unexpected source—YouTuber Logan Paul.
Judge reclaims historic 62nd HR ball, thanks to Logan Paul
Logan Paul revealed the return in a video shared on Drink Prime, where he announced that he had acquired the ball at auction and decided to give it back to Judge. The Yankees star, visibly surprised, responded with, “You kidding me?” before sharing the moment with his wife.
Logan Paul, also the co-founder of the Prime drink brand, acquired the ball as part of his ongoing ventures.
The value and legacy of Aaron Judge’s 62nd ball
The ball’s journey began in October 2022 when Aaron Judge broke the American League single-season home run record. Cory Youmans, a Dallas-based financial professional, caught the ball during the game and was quickly escorted out by security.
When asked what he intended to do with the ball, Youmans admitted he hadn’t yet made any plans. Eventually, he decided to auction the ball, which sold for $1.5 million—below initial estimates but still a significant sum. Reports suggest that Youmans turned down a private offer of $3 million before choosing to let the auction determine the value.
Aaron Judge, at the time, took a philosophical view, saying it would be “great to get it back” but acknowledging that the fan had every right to keep it. Now, with the ball back in his possession, Judge is focused on the current season. He has already hit 51 home runs, putting him on pace to surpass his 2022 performance.
