NEW YORK — Jazz Chisholm Jr. has been making headlines on the field for the Yankees this week. Off the field, his fiancée is generating a different kind of attention entirely.
Ahnalys Santiago, the singer and reality TV personality known as Ahna Mac, unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against President Donald Trump on the latest episode of her podcast. The comments, which dropped on YouTube on Tuesday, came as the U.S. and Israel continue military operations against Iran.
Santiago did not hold back. And given her connection to one of the Yankees’ most high-profile players, the remarks are drawing significant attention from baseball fans and beyond.
Santiago singles out Trump by name on podcast

During the season two premiere of her “Ahna Mac and Friends” podcast, Santiago addressed the ongoing conflict directly.
“We are in war right now,” she said (Timestamp 1:10:!4). “It’s like day 12 of war. We let this f***ing white orange motherf***ker fu** us up. Them Iranians, they’re not playing with us.”
Santiago went on to say she believes Trump will lose the war and eventually be removed from office. She also jokingly suggested that Trump marry either her or Chisholm to obtain a green card, a reference to the couple’s Bahamian and New Jersey roots.
In the same episode, the Yankees infielder’s fiancée said she does not want to see any casualties. She noted that she has family members serving in the military. But she also made a controversial comment, suggesting it would be better if Republican-leaning states bore the brunt of any potential attack from China, naming Mississippi, Alabama and Nashville. She said neither New York nor Miami had anything to do with the conflict.
“I’m just saying like ‘China, I f*** with you,'” said said (Timestamp: 1:12:33). ” China, my makeup brand is dropping and all of my products come from you guys. Like I feel like me and you, let’s not do that. Let’s not take it too far.””
When CjKilla told her not to be so expletive-filled, she replied
“We can. Freedom of fuc**ng speech. We ain’t going to jail. *ck Trump. He don’t even fc* with our kind. How dare you even want to protect such a type of man?”
Who is Ahna Mac?

Santiago, 25, was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and rose to fame through the reality TV series “Baddies,” beginning with “Baddies East.” She is also a singer and songwriter who launched her music career in 2019 with the single “Run It.” She has more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram under the handle @macdaddyahna.
She and Chisholm went public with their relationship in late 2025. The Yankees second baseman proposed on Christmas Day under the Northern Lights in Finland. Santiago announced the engagement on social media, writing in part: “I’m not Da Gurl anymore yallllll I’m DA WIFEEEEEEEE.”
In a recent interview, Santiago described what it is like being engaged to a Yankees player.
“Life is amazing. It’s fun,” Santiago said. “Being engaged to a Yankees player, it’s a little different. You know their world is not my world. I’m entertainment. He’s sports. So it’s a little tricky. I try not to mix our worlds. They’re a little stricter on that side.”
Chisholm focused on the field for the Yankees
Chisholm, 28, is in the final year of his contract with the Yankees. He is coming off a career-best 2025 season in which he hit 31 home runs and stole 31 bases, becoming the first Yankee to go 30-30 since Alfonso Soriano in 2003. He earned his second All-Star selection and his first Silver Slugger Award.
On Wednesday night, Chisholm contributed to the Yankees’ 7-0 Opening Day win over the Giants at Oracle Park. He went 1-for-3 with a single, scored a run after being hit by a pitch during New York’s five-run second inning, and stole second base in the fifth for the first stolen base of the 2026 Yankees season.
Chisholm has publicly set a goal of joining Shohei Ohtani in the 50-50 club this year. He has not commented publicly on Santiago’s podcast remarks.
The Yankees and Giants resume their series Friday with right-hander Cam Schlittler on the mound for New York against left-hander Robbie Ray. Whether Santiago’s comments create any distraction for the Yankees clubhouse remains to be seen, but for now, Chisholm appears locked in on the season ahead.
