Aaron Judge hit his 56th and 57th home runs at Fenway Park on Tuesday. But it was not only a memorable night for the slugger. Cecilia Jacob will remember the game for the rest of her life after she shared a high-moment with Judge to celebrate his chase for a new home-run record.
The video of that moment has gone viral making the fan an instant social media sensation.

During the Yankees’ 7-6 win over the Red Sox, Judge hit his 56th and 57th home runs of the season. He is still trying to break Roger Maris’ AL record of 61 home runs, so he gave Cecilia a high-five near the dugout as she took a video of the celebration.
“Once he hit the home run, I immediately started filming,” told an excited the 19-year-old Cecilia and continued, “We were all just screaming and so happy. We tried for the high-five the first time Judge homered and it didn’t come through, but then the second time he came through, and I just freaked out.”
Even though Cecilia’s chance of celebrating with Judge is now recorded on her phone and online, it almost happened thanks to another person. The seat was originally given to Lucy Nuttall’s brother. However, he dropped on Monday and she got the seat instead just hours before the game.
Cecilia, who was born and raised in Manhattan and currently attends Brown University, stated that after her encounter with Judge she was in a state of “disbelief.”
“You see him come up to take the high-five,” said the Yankees’ fan about the episode. While continuing to recover from the moment, she added, “But when he goes to actually hit the high five, you don’t (see) it. But then you catch my hand after, like shaking, frozen in the air, because my hand stayed there for like five seconds after because I was in disbelief.”
She wasn’t the only one to feel that way. In fact, Yankees fans were quick to express their excitement over the exchange on social media on Tuesday, joining her in doing so.
On the Instagram page of the YES Network, one of the network’s viewers commented, “Loved her face after the high five,” while another viewer said, “I have never. Ever. Have you ever been more envious of a human being?”
At this point, Judge needs just four more home runs to tie Maris’ record of 61 home runs in a single season. On Wednesday night, the Yankees and the Red Sox played the second and final game of their two-game series. Judge failed to notch up another home run and now the action moves to American Family Field, where the Milwaukee Brewers will host the Yankees.
Have you ever seen any fortunate fan like Cecilia Jacobs? Will Aaron Judge get another two-homer game at Milwaukee?
