Looking ahead, Gerrit Cole’s trajectory suggests he could climb further up the all-time wins list. With five more victories, he would join a group of 249 players with 155 wins. Should he secure 15 more wins by next season, he would reach 170, a mark that would place him alongside Yankees legend Ron Guidry among 193 players.
