Juan Soto added another milestone to his growing Yankees legacy, hitting his 200th career home run and 40th since joining the team. The blast made Soto the latest player to homer in every MLB stadium, a feat that underscores his remarkable talent at just 25 years old.

Juan Soto reached the 200-homer milestone in 328 days, making him one of the youngest players in history to do so. For comparison, Yankees legend Mickey Mantle accomplished the feat in 279 days, while Alex Rodriguez needed 289.

Juan Soto now ranks seventh on the all-time list of youngest players to hit 200 home runs, with Mel Ott holding the top spot at 144 days.

Aaron Judge also played a pivotal role in the Yankees’ 11-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners, driving in four runs in his first two at-bats. Judge’s offensive burst, combined with Soto’s historic home run, helped move the Yankees closer to clinching a playoff spot. The win gave New York a four-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East, their largest advantage since June.

Judge now leads the league with 136 RBIs, while Soto’s two-run blast in the third inning marked the first time in his career he has hit 40 homers in a season. With that home run, Juan Soto and Judge became just the third set of Yankees teammates to hit 40 homers in a single season, joining Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, and Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.

The Yankees’ offense shone throughout the game, with the top three hitters—Judge, Juan Soto, and Gleyber Torres—going a combined 7-for-8 with six RBIs. Seattle’s Bryan Woo, who had not previously allowed a run in two starts against the Yankees, was knocked out after allowing a season-high seven earned runs in 4 2/3 innings. Woo gave up Jasson Dominguez’s first home run since returning from Tommy John surgery, adding to Seattle’s woes.

Yankees starter Luis Gil battled control issues early but managed to work five innings, allowing one run and striking out five. Marcus Stroman pitched three innings of relief as he transitions to the bullpen for this road trip.

Next up, Nestor Cortes (9-10, 3.90 ERA) will start for the Yankees, while Bryce Miller (11-8, 3.12 ERA) takes the mound for the Mariners.
