Juan Soto, the New York Yankees’ star outfielder acquired in a high-profile offseason trade orchestrated by general manager Brian Cashman, is flourishing in his new surroundings.
Aaron Judge mentors Juan Soto’s off-field transition

According to multiple players who spoke with USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, much of Juan Soto’s success can be attributed to the leadership and support of his teammate, Aaron Judge.
A former teammate from Juan Soto’s days with the San Diego Padres highlighted a significant change in the slugger’s demeanor, noting that he seems far happier and more at ease with the Yankees than he ever was in San Diego.

Juan Soto missed the Yankees’ three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers this past weekend due to left forearm inflammation. However, manager Aaron Boone expressed optimism about Soto’s return to the lineup for Monday’s game against the Kansas City Royals.
In his 64 games this season, Soto has been a standout, boasting a .318 batting average, a 1.027 OPS, 17 home runs, and 53 RBIs. These impressive stats underscore the positive impact of the supportive environment cultivated by Judge and the Yankees organization.

I’m happy he’s happy being here and hopefully he’ll be even happier when he signs his new contract with us regardless of the other teams and their offers
