During this encounter, Sabathia didn’t miss the chance to engage in some playful banter, offering Derek Jeter a humorous suggestion for his next fashion choice.
In the previous ALCS, Derek Jeter garnered attention for sporting a cowboy hat, which fans considered a lucky charm. Despite not reappearing in that hat during the World Series for the supposed ‘luck,’ it was Sabathia who playfully suggested the idea.
Taking the amusement to Twitter, the Yankees legend, Sabathia, shared a video of their interaction, adding a humorous caption for the enjoyment of their fans.
“I told him to wear the hat next time.”
Sabathia and Derek Jeter are good friends
The illustrious career deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame for Sabathia commenced in Cleveland, where he spent seven years before making the move to the Brewers in 2008.
