A Yankees fan was captured on video delivering a knockout punch to another man outside of Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Tuesday night. The incident occurred during or after the Yankees’ 7-6 extra innings victory over the Phillies. The fan, wearing an Aaron Judge jersey, struck the man in a plain black t-shirt with such force that he fell to the ground, appearing to be unconscious.
This incident follows a recent brawl involving Yankees and Mets fans after the Mets swept the Subway Series at Yankee Stadium. The recurrence of violent behavior among fans has raised concerns and calls for increased security at sporting events.

The Philadelphia Police Department is aware of the incident and has launched an investigation. “We are asking the victim and anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to come forward,” the PPD told TMZ Sports.
The altercation, which was posted on social media, shows the Yankees fan provoking the other man, challenging him to take a swing. Despite the man in the black t-shirt’s attempts to deescalate the situation, the Yankees fan continued to taunt him, even slapping his own face before delivering the powerful blow.
After the punch, the Yankees fan walked away as the camera panned back to the victim, who lay motionless on the ground. The exact cause of the altercation remains unclear.
