According to the New York Yankees, Police are investigating after a drone was spotted flying above the right field at Yankee Stadium on Saturday.
According to NJ.com, a flashing green light hovering above the outfield, and it was a drone that floated about 15 minutes above the park during the Yankees’ 14-1 victory over the rival Boston Red Sox.
The Yankees stated that they were aware of the report and that the NYPD was looking into it.
The Federal Aviation Administration prohibits unmanned aircraft from flying over stadiums while games are in progress, but drones have disrupted several games in recent seasons.
