Red Sox come into Yankees game on losing streak

The New York Yankees are currently in first place in the American League East with a record of 92-58. They will take on the Boston Red Sox, who are in fifth in the AL East division with a record of 72-78.

Yankees vs. Red Sox, Time: Saturday, 1:05 p.m. EDT, New York.

Domingo German (2-3, 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 41 strikeouts) will likely start for the home team, while Nick Pivetta (10-11, 4.35 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, 160 strikeouts) will take the mound for the Red Sox.

The Boston Red Sox are currently riding a three-game losing streak when they face off against the New York Yankees.

At home, New York has a record of 54-22, and the team’s overall record is 92-58. When they have eight or more hits in a game, they have a winning record of 55-23.

When playing away from home, Boston has a record of 35-41, and overall they are 72-78. When they have scored at least five runs in a game, the Red Sox have won 49 of those games and lost only 19.
