Former New York Yankees pitcher Colten Brewer found himself dealing with more than just frustration following a tough game.

Now with the Cubs, Colten Brewer injured his non-pitching hand after punching a wall in the dugout, according to The Athletic.

The incident occurred after Colten Brewer‘s outing on Saturday during a 7-0 loss to the Angels. Called in from the bullpen, the right-hander struggled, giving up three runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks in just 2/3 of an inning, relieving starter Kyle Hendricks. His performance led to a fit of frustration, which culminated in him punching a wall.

This rash act resulted in a broken hand, landing Brewer on the 60-day injured list as of Sunday. The Cubs have since called up fellow right-hander Hunter Bigge to fill the gap left by Brewer’s absence.

Brewer’s season has been rocky. In 20 2/3 innings pitched across 16 appearances, he has a 5.66 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP. His control issues have been evident, with nine walks and 13 earned runs allowed.

Last season, Brewer pitched for the Yankees, making three appearances and allowing four runs over 8 1/3 innings. Before his time with the Yankees, the 31-year-old spent three years in the Red Sox bullpen and one season with the Padres.
