Domingo Germán pitched six shutout innings on Friday with one walk and one strikeout
On Friday night, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (43-45) blanked the Louisville Bats 9-0. In his second start of his rehab stint with the RailRiders, Domingo Germán threw six scoreless innings.
Germán easily completed the sixth game of his Minor League rehabilitation assignment. The 29-year-old right-hander needed just 65 pitches to complete six scoreless innings with one strikeout. Germán has authorized one in total.
With Luis Severino and Miguel Castro on the injured list, Germán may bring either bring some much needed support for the starting pitching and or relief to a recently exhausted bullpen.
