The Dodgers are among the top contenders to sign Aaron Judge. They have money and are willing to pursue the hottest free agent in the MLB. And for him, they are ready to go the extra mile and sacrifice their August acquisition and ex-Yankee Joey Gallo.

After the conclusion of the 2022 World Series, free agency will begin. It is anticipated that Los Angeles will be one of the most active teams in the league to reinforce its ranks. With home-run record holder Aaron Judge is available on the free agent market, the Dodgers have their eyes on him and this may cause more trouble for the New York Yankees, who want to retain the slugger.

The MLB Trade Rumors claims that:

“The Dodgers (as is their nature with every top free agent) have at least some interest in Judge, and while both Judge or (Mookie) Betts could be in the same outfield if one of them occasionally plays center field, returning Betts to his old second base position would certainly bolster the infield in the event of Trea Turner’s possible departure. Because this is the Dodgers, a scenario can’t be ruled out where both Judge and Trea Turner are signed, with Los Angeles flexing its payroll muscles once again.”

Aaron Judge is likely to get a lot of attention from teams in the National League West. The San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres could be interested in the 30-year-old, who just had a great season in which he hit 62 home runs to set a new American League record and was in the running for the Triple Crown.

Joey Gallo could leave Los Angeles as the Dodgers are getting ready to sign Aaron Judge for a big amount.

“Gallo didn’t hit well after joining the Dodgers, so it’s likely he won’t be re-signed,” says MLB Trade Rumors.

Before the August 2 trade deadline, the Dodgers got Gallo from the Yankees. Gallo has been an All-Star twice and won Gold Gloves two times. Gallo played 140 games for the Yankees and hit .159. He hit 25 home runs and struck out 194 times. The Yankees fans roasted him on different occasions that expedited his move out of New York.

Gallo hit .162 in 44 regular-season games with the Dodgers and it included seven home runs.

Do you think the Dodgers can get away with Aaron Judge?
