“I teamed up with Tunnel to Towers after seeing their life-changing work with military and first responder families,” Andy Pettitte shared in a campaign video, emphasizing his commitment to the cause.
In another video, the Yankees legend provided further insight into his motivation. Andy Pettitte revealed that repeated exposure to the Foundation’s commercials resonated deeply with him. As an American, he felt a strong sense of obligation to learn more about the organization and become actively involved in their efforts.

Andy Pettitte, who won five World Series titles with the Yankees, shared his motivations in a campaign video. The 51-year-old, who also enjoyed success with the Houston Astros and earned three All-Star selections, currently serves as an advisor to the Yankees, imparting his extensive baseball knowledge to the team.

In 2019, Andy Pettitte embarked on a unique role with the New York Yankees, serving as an advisor to general manager Brian Cashman. This position required him to travel frequently as he immersed himself in the team’s minor league system.
