“I teamed up with Tunnel to Towers after seeing their life-changing work with military and first responder families,” Andy Pettitte shared in a campaign video, emphasizing his commitment to the cause.

Andy Pettitte, who won five World Series titles with the Yankees, shared his motivations in a campaign video. Witnessing the positive impact that Tunnel to Towers has had on veterans and first responders struck a chord with him. The 51-year-old, who also enjoyed success with the Houston Astros and earned three All-Star selections, currently serves as an advisor to the Yankees, imparting his extensive baseball knowledge to the team.

Beyond his achievements on the baseball diamond, Andy Pettitte is driven by a desire to offer guidance and support to those in need. He recognizes the importance of mentorship and shared wisdom, emphasizing the value of having someone to rely on for fresh perspectives and as a sounding board. In 2019, Andy Pettitte embarked on a unique role with the New York Yankees, serving as an advisor to general manager Brian Cashman. This position required him to travel frequently as he immersed himself in the team’s minor league system.
