Despite batting only .209 and having a low on-base percentage of 28 percent, he managed to perform admirably in front of demanding fans and within a challenging market for rookies. Bowden highlighted Anthony Volpe’s professionalism, work ethic, and evident baseball intelligence throughout the season.
Bowden suggested that Anthony Volpe showed great adaptability and anticipates he will perform better against breaking balls in the upcoming season, particularly after struggling against them last year.
