Following the date night snapshots, Cordeiro shared another post on her Instagram Stories, showing her watching a Yankees game on a tablet while lounging by the water. She tagged A-Rod in the post, hinting that the former Yankee slugger was tuned in to Monday’s 5-2 win over the Nationals.
This summer has been a time of travel for the couple, who were recently spotted enjoying a beach vacation in Sardinia, Italy, in late July.
A-Rod credits Cordeiro, a 44-year-old fitness enthusiast, with helping him stay on track with his health goals. In an April interview with The Post, he spoke about her positive influence on his fitness routine, praising her dedication to wellness and how it motivates him.
The couple’s relationship became public in December 2022, following A-Rod’s previous relationship with fitness expert Kathryne Padgett and his earlier engagement to Jennifer Lopez.
A-Rod finally gets Yankees’ invitation
A-Rod, 48, spent 12 seasons with the Yankees and was a key player in their 2009 World Series championship run. He recently returned to Yankee Stadium for Old-Timers’ Day, where he expressed his excitement about being back and pride in his achievements with the team, including 351 home runs, 1,096 RBIs, and a .283 batting average.
His return to Yankee Stadium for Old-Timers’ Day drew a mix of reactions, underscoring the complicated legacy he left with the franchise. A-Rod, whose career combined extraordinary talent with controversy due to his use of performance-enhancing drugs, was met with both support and reservation from fellow Yankees legends.
Lou Piniella and David Cone were among those who voiced support for A-Rod’s potential inclusion in Monument Park, acknowledging his contributions to the team. However, former teammates CC Sabathia and Jorge Posada chose not to comment directly, deferring to those in charge of such decisions.
During Old-Timers’ Day, when was asked about the last time he wore his Yankees jersey, Derek Jeter humorously chimed in, saying Rodriguez likely still wears it at home. A-Rod himself reminisced that the last time he donned the jersey was on August 12, 2016, the day of his final game before retirement.

The ex-slugger spoke with pride about his tenure with the Yankees, particularly his role in helping secure the 2009 World Series title, the franchise’s last championship.
“I was actually surprised that I got an invitation — honored, honored,” he said. “Very happy, I told my daughter right away. It’s a great thrill. It is my first time back and I’m excited to be back. I’m very proud of my time in New York and I’m very proud to be a part of a championship team.”
