As the Yankees gear up for their World Series showdown with the Dodgers, their support system got a boost from the players’ families, particularly their wives and significant others. Demonstrating their team pride, the group sported matching white Yankees caps with navy brims, reflecting the team’s classic colors.

In a shared photo, Samantha Judge, wife of Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, was seen holding their dachshund, Penny. The couple’s two dogs, Penny and Gus, have become familiar members of the Judge household.

Major League Baseball’s social media team spotlighted this show of support, sharing the image on their X account and noting the presence of the Yankees’ extended family, including their four-legged companions.

As the series kicks off with two games in Los Angeles, it appears Samantha and the other Yankees supporters have made the trip to cheer on the team from the stands. Amy Cole, wife of New York ace Gerrit Cole, originally posted the photo on social media. Her husband is set to start Game 1, going up against the Dodgers’ Jack Flaherty when the series begins at 8:08 p.m. ET on Friday, October 25.

Ashley Rodon, wife of pitcher Carlos Rodon, opened up about the close-knit bond within the Yankees’ extended family during a recent appearance on Dymin Lynn’s podcast. Dymin, wife of MLB pitcher Lance Lynn, hosted the conversation, where Ashley shared insights into the unique dynamics of life around baseball.

Ashley spoke about her strong friendship with Amy Cole, wife of Yankees ace Gerrit Cole, describing how their relationship has grown naturally through their shared experiences as wives of starting pitchers. The two have become regular companions at games, with Ashley emphasizing that this connection has made her time with the Yankees more enjoyable than ever.

Their game-day routine of sitting together, and cheering on their husbands, has turned into a highlight of the season for Ashley. She noted that having a close friend by her side throughout the year has brought a new level of enjoyment to the baseball experience.

This camaraderie was on full display Wednesday when Amy, Ashley, and other Yankees’ partners traveled together to Los Angeles, where they plan to rally behind the team as they kick off Game 1 of the World Series on Friday.
