  1. Regardless of whether the Yankees get Yamamoto or not, this shows the Yankees are doing everything they can to improve their roster. They need to sign AT LEAST one top free agent starting pitcher and AT LEAST one top free agent relief pitcher. They also need 2 major league caliber backup infielders. Bringing back Isiah Kiner-Falefa would be preferable because of his versatility and ability to play the infield and outfield.

  2. Bullpen has 8 guys, but some are coming off of injuries and others aren’t proven they can go more than 40 innings. Yankees could use another couple of live arms in there. it would be nice to bring back lefty Wandy Peralta.
